Asanas helps relieving the pain around the cervix, by opening up the pelvic region thus helps pregnant women for labor and delivery breathe deeply and relax and also helps recover very quickly after delivery.

Yoga Asanas also helps in reducing the effect of some symptoms such as

  • Backache
  • Leg pains
  • Morning sickness
  • Cramps
  • Pelvic pain
  • Gastric problems
  • Swelling
  • Sleeplessness and
  • Constipation

All the above it is very important to know about the Yoga precautions during pregnancy as some of the postures may cause risk for the to-be-mothers.

Although some poses are safe in pregnancy as below.

Butterfly pose, cat-Cow pose, cobra, Seated twist, Palm tree, seated forward bend, side angle pose, standing forward bend and triangle pose
